Lily's social circle was by far the most impeccable assortment of guys that one could imagine. There was August a fair colored, well bred, well mannered young man who was rather passionate about things. There was the always entertaining Ryan. And then there was Sebastian. He was handsome, calm, witty, debonair, and he had hair that you just wanted to run your hands through shamelessly. To be honest, she wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to meet him for breakfast because she was going to see him or if it was because she was going to get the chance to play with it later on because without a doubt she knew that this would probably turn into one of their blurry little get togethers where they did things without thinking about what they could mean. Lily didn't tend to think about things like that unless she was with Kaleb. For some reason she felt weird if she were to act like she did things with Kaleb that she had done with Sebastian. It just didn't seem right and she was never entirely sure why. However she was not going to worry about that at the moment. She was going to spend time with Sebastian. She wasn't going to worry about silly things.
Breakfast was Lily's all time favorite meal of the day; so, when Sebastian proposed breakfast to her, there was no way that she was going to be able to deny herself that chance to catch up and eat even if it meant that she was going to have to get up a little early. Lily had an extensive morning routine that included yoga, wardrobe choices, hair styling, make up, and some other things that would take her more then an hour to complete. It was all going to be worth it and she knew it as soon as she was close to the restaurant. The pretty facade wasn't the only thing that she could see though as she approached. She saw the pretty faces of some young women who didn't know any better and the back of Sebastian facing towards her. A smile crept on her face as an idea popped into her head. She was not going to have some pretty twit ruin her time with her Sebastian.
Lily walked decidedly to Sebastian and rested her head on the top of his shoulder with no warning as she wrapped her arms around his torso. "Oh I'm so sorry I'm late," Lily said nuzzling into his neck and closing her eyes. She inhaled the scent of his cologne. It was comforting. Something that was familiar to her. She had smelled it on various other guys but the way that it mixed with his scent made it more appealing then on any other guy. She kissed the side of his neck up to his ear. "I hope you'll forgive me." Lily opened her eyes and when she looked at the girls a look of shock crossed her face. "Oh my gosh. I didn't know that you were talking to people, baby. I feel so silly now." Lily said with an 'embarrassed' giggle.

---I'VE BEEN DANCING ON THE TOPS OF BUILDINGS WITH YOU---
[/b] Sebastion hated getting up early, or usually he did. In this rare instance, he found himself amazingly energized on this particuliar morning. The sun barely peeking over the horizon the sky a brilliant mix of pastel yellows, fiery oranges, and subtle rosy pinks. All combining to make a rather striking morning. Considering most this week had been gray and lifeless due to the unending chill winter brought with it. The wind seemed mild, barely ruffling the tree leaves just outside his bathroom window. Sebastion only noticed this as he cracked the tiny pane to allow steam to roll out of the bathroom faster, to clear the mirror he would inevitable use to shave, and comb back his hair to dry. A quick shower had been in order. Seeing as Sebastion would soon be in the presense of one of his most cherished friends. You see, friends like these are few and far apart, luckily he’d know this girl since he’d barely been able to walk. It was just one of those things that comes from living in a rich family circle. You get a group of amazingly like you rich family friends. Which made it easier to be yourself, frankly. You see Lily had an understanding, as did Sebastion with her. It wasn’t exactly a discussed relationship, it just functioned as it did. Ever since Sebastion had started attending family functions, and other events. Lily had been his escort, and him her’s. So naturally it blossomed into a friendship that was more or less boundless. Which worked just fine for Sebastion’s lifestyle although he had a covetting protectiveness over Lily, and always found himself a tad jealous when she interacted with other men, but it was nothing serious and he always saw his lovely Lily again.
Although it had been awhile, so naturally Sebastion had began to miss her, thus he contacted her and initiated an invitation to a nice breakfast, one which she gladly accepted, as he predicted she would. And now he was off to see her. A clean shaven face, no stubble dotting along his jaw and chin. Some of his better clothes, Sebastion always caught himself trying to impress her. So he arrived late, waiting just outside the restaurant for her. While idly talking to women on her way in. She was far more interested in him than he was her. But he gladly accepted the attention and subtle compliments. It kept his mind of the cold, which had decreased in intensity as the sun rose, and his breathe was no longer visible as a swirling wisp of white smoke. Just as the conversation seemed to get interesting. Sebastion was bust surveying the girl’s body, which was a perfectly hour glassed figure. He felt a familiar presence and smirked slightly when he felt her head on his shoulder. The corners of his lips pulling up more to smile when her arms slid around him. He was even tempted to laugh. He was of course obliged to play along with her, it was always a pleasure humoring Lily.
In return he allowed the arm closest to her to crawl across her back and rest idly on her hip, clutching her closer to himself. Glancing at the girl adjacent, her face priceless. Obviously shocked at the unfolding events. As the flutter of her soft lips pecked up the arch of his neck Sebastion leaned slightly into her, pleased by the teasing. Although disappointed when she stopped he corrected himself, and a brow rose slightly at her apology. Giving a hearty chuckle, he knew this game. It was time to give his full attention to Lily now. She would have no sharing. With his spare hand he brought it to her neck, allowing the back of his knuckles to graze her cheek lightly, then with his thumb he traced the fine jawline to her chin where he turned her face back to him. ”Don’t feel silly love, I wasn’t talking to anyone in particular.” Sebastion insisted, holding back a laugh. It took the girl two moments to realise it was her que to leave, and she clicked away in her heals in an almost angry fashion. When out of earshot he eyed Lily. ”You’re getting too good at that.” he teased her lightly, awaiting an equally as mocking reply.

When it came to Sebastian, Lily wasn't entirely sure if she felt like she could be jealous with him. After all they were just friends or at least they hadn't said anything to one another to make her think other wise. She knew that he had a life and that he was just as entitled as anyone else to go chasing after pretty girls. For all she knew, she could have just chased away a prospective girlfriend. Most of the time Lily would let the other girls just get away with whatever. She was not allowed to be jealous and so she was going to train herself not to be; however, Lily was also rather selfish. When it was time for her to have her time with Sebastian, she was not going to let some random street girl take him away from her, or anyone else for that matter. It was her time with him now and she was going to enjoy every last bit of it. Especially if he was going to touch the rest of her body in the same manner that he was touching her jaw. She loved being touched whether it be in a hug, a kiss, a massage or a caress. Contact was important with Lily it made her feel comfortable and it made her feel more connected with the person that she was talking to.
With the girl out of ear shot Lily was able to let out her giggles. The whole situation was hilarious. It was probably her favorite part about the whole thing. The look on the other girls face that told you that you won, and that she was going to leave was absolutely priceless. Since there was no longer a girl standing in Lily's 'rightful' spot. She walked around Sebastian so that she was standing in front of him. Her hands rested on his chest as she thought of a reply to his comment on her ever improving skills of getting women to flee away from him in her presence. "Well I have to be the best at it, after all look at the prize that I'm protecting," Lily said to him her one hand moving slowly up to hold the side of his face. Lily almost contemplated telling Sebastian that they should just skip breakfast out right at the moment and just go back to either her place or his and catch up there, but then again, it wasn't like she was going to want to make herself anything and she wasn't going to trust Sebastian to do it for her either. So she was going to have to keep herself somewhat tamed throughout breakfast. Supposedly good things came to those who waited. She never really believed that. Lily missed him even though it hadn't been too terribly long unlike Kaleb where he had been gone for months. "I am sorry that I'm late though, and I most certainly had missed you, just so that the record knows." She pressed her lips on his for a moment before pulling away. "So no more interruptions until our day is over."
Lily could think of a whole variety of things for the two of them to do while they were together. Each one falling onto a different side of that blurry blurry line that the two refused to talk about. ]"So since you got up all early for me, we should probably get some breakfast then hmm?" she asked him nodding over towards the eatery. "Besides, it's my favorite and the sooner we get this done, the sooner we can get to the part that we both like." The part that Lily was referring to was of course catch up time where they would find some place to sit and just let their minds roam and do whatever they wished and nothing would be questioned. If things were going in a direction deemed 'to far' one of them would speak up like always and then they would adjust. She liked that things were simple with Sebastian. They were just whatever they needed to be. "God I'm starving. I have a craving for pancakes. Loaded in syrup and butter." It was an off handed comment and it was a little odd in a sense too. Most people expected her to be the kind of girl to want a caviar omelet or crepes or something. Lily would eat that all the time for her mother, but now she wanted the simplicity that was pancakes. When her best friend was in town, a few of her high society tendencies went out the window. Her taste pallet just so happened to be one of those things. "Oops forgot to ask. How are you?"

---I'VE BEEN DANCING ON THE TOPS OF BUILDINGS WITH YOU---
[/b] Thing where always simple when it came to Lily, she made it easy to be around. Seeing as she was so open minded and didn’t exactly care what people thought of her, her actions, or the way she spoke. Lily had an absurd way of expressing what she wanted when she wanted it. Although many people found this mannerism to be slightly overbearing Sebastion had stopped noticing. Everything about Lily was almost playful. Sebastion contirbuted this to the twenty or so years they’d been friends. It started to get clearer the longer you knew a person. And in a relationship where anything could happen and it still stayed so simple, you knew just about everything. There where no secrets to hide or topics to avoid. It wasn’t like Sebastion was Lily’s best friend. It just he knew her, and she knew him. Not through the words of others, but from each of their own mouths. It’s the kind of relationship, that if they fought, it was almost in a joking way. The topic may have been serious, but somehow they’d always kiss and make up. Sebastion liked it this way, although at times it was confusing and misleading. But again Lily always cleared things up in her own way.
Sebastion’s smile widened at Lily, his lips parting to expose a flash of white teeth. ”Ha! Well I think you surpass the best, it’s getting to the point where all you have to do is walk up and all the girl’s seem to turn and nearly run away, you’re making me out to look like a taken man. At least you make up for what you chase off.” he retorted, just before the soft of her hand trailed up to his face. Sebastion couldn’t help but adore the simple little ways she touched him, of course he’d had other slender little hands outlining his face. Lily’s hand where just more familiar to him, like a security blanket he liked them there. Lily’s eyes searched him and she seemed to be thinking about something, in the midst of her thinking Sebastion’s stomach shifted, and growled. The grumbled muted by his skin was remarkably loud and Sebastion laughed a little at the angry little grumble. ”You know I don’t care if your late, just so long as you show up.” Sebastion insisted. The flutter of lips on his own for a split second hushed him for the moment, and he returned the slightest pressure to her own. ”You should call me more if you miss me so much, Lily, you know it’s not wrong for the girl to ask the boy out on a date now right?” he teased at her. ”Yes no interruptions, seeing as you wont allow any.” Sebastion confirmed her order, shifting the palm he had rested on her hip to the curve of her spine, ushering her forward towards the doors.
Lily was correct, there would be no serious conversations going on while they ate. Seeing as a serious conversation for Lily consisted off any form of close contact. And in such a refined restaurant neither of them could be loud and obnoxious as they sometimes where. Not that Sebastion minded, he didn’t mind at all, in fact it was his favorite part. But it was one of those things you ease into.
Sebastion pulled the door open as she spoke, allowing her to walk ahead of him, the second set of door already parted by a teenage boy in a black vest. ”Pancakes? Oh what princess had enough fine foods?” Sebastion chuckled after her, he was familiar with this though. At all the functions he’d escorted her too, she’d graciously picked at the appetizers. Most which consisted of caviar topped discs, and other little finger foods. While daintily balancing a glass of bubbling champagne in the other. All to make Mom and Dad happy. Another reason Sebastion was kept around, he entertained Lily’s parents. The plump concierge opened his mouth to greet them. ”Creed. Sebastion informed before a good morning even got off, the man nodded and a waiter approached. As they where being lead to their table Sebastion shrugged. ”Fine as far as it goes, same old with me. Although you left me to die at the Gala. Had to take an actual date, and unlike you, she had no idea what was gong on. So therefore she was like my shadow all night. Thanks for that Lily.” He wasn’t truly mad, he was never truly mad. Although that night had been irritating. ”How about yourself Lily?” he inquired as they reached their table. The waiter had set a freshly printed breakfast menu at each chair, and Sebastion pulled Lily’s out before taking a seat in his own.

Whether or not Lily was getting too good at 'her job' was yet to be seen. If she was getting too god Lily wouldn't even have to be around him and the girls would still stay way unless they were some two bit gold digger at which point Lily would gladly tell them where to take their skanky asses. Lily had no problem with people from other classes, Kaleb was the evidence. However, she was not going to let some skank use her friend. He deserved someone who was going to take care of him and who was going to love him for him and not because of the family name. She had been around too many men like that and she couldn't imagine that the women on the other end of the spectrum would be just as enjoyable to deal with. The short little brief kiss shared between the two of them was perfect for the moment. It was like Sebastian even knew her well enough to know when she wanted something intense and when she wanted something short and sweet. He didn't try and shove his tongue down her throat every time their lips came into contact and his first instinct wasn't to try and put his hands up her shirt either.
Sebastian was a gentleman through and through. He guided her to the restaurant, he opened the door for her and he even pulled out her chair for her. She simply kept smiling instead of ruining everything with a wisecrack about how he was her own personal gentleman or foot man for something of that nature. She didn't mind when men did things for her. She only minded when they did things for her because they were under the impression that she was incapable of doing them for herself. "Yes I want pancakes," Lily said remembering the comment from earlier. She didn't want eggs Benedict and she didn't want something that she would have to say in a different language to order. Any other day she would be fine with ordering something like that. However, there was the fact that her brain was in it's 'normal' state. She had quickly realized that Lily was two different people. There was the Lily when Kaleb wasn't in town and there was the Lily when Kaleb was in town. Lily would crave comfort food and normal things when Kaleb was in town. She would want to go sans driver and just walk around in jeans and a t-shirt. Sure they would still be designer and lavish but it was still something more simple compared to when Kaleb wasn't around. It was the small changes like that that would show up in her personality. "with blackberries and whipped cream." Lily had been craving fattening high calorie foods for the entire week and this was going to be no exception. She was lost in the prospects of having warm fluffy calorie drenched pancakes that she almost didn't hear Sebastian mention the Gala.
Lily's eyes stayed on the menu for a minute. She was going to be found out sooner or later. She was just hoping that it was going to be the later, much much later. "I know I totally flaked and I'm so sorry. My mind got . . . preoccupied by something else and I got tunnel vision. August already chewed me out for that one so don't worry about having to do it yourself," Lily said even though he probably wasn't that mad. "Well clearly she had no clue how to entertain you if you considered her to your shadow rather then your date." She smiled because she knew how to entertain Sebastian and keep his attention fixedly on her and on no other woman. You had to break the rules of decorum while making other think that you were still being perfectly proper. Sneaking him away for a kiss just for the hell of it, whispering about things that they could do later behind closed doors while you were dancing, and wearing the single most scintillating dress that you could find always making sure that it was more stimulating then the last dress you had been seen in. That was only half of the game though. You also had to be able to hold your own in an actual conversation. You couldn't just be some sex crazed bimbo. You had to be able to balance everything out. "So would this be a bad time to tell you that I already have plans for Christmas and that I won't be coming to the annual party?" She was going to have to tell him sometime might as well get all the disappointment tout now. "Though if you don't have a date yet for the Grossman dinner, I would be honored if you would take me."
Lily didn't like having the conversation turned onto her. She wanted to make sure that she was going to start World War Three by making the wrong comment about something . . . well someone. "Well as I said I have plans for Christmas. It should be rather interesting. I think I'm going to quit my job even if it means that I will have to find some other way to get the money for the magazine, and well I don't think that there's much else since the last time that we've seen each other. Are there any other plans for the day?" Lily asked as the waiter came over. She smiled as she gave him her order of pancakes. She was glad for the momentary break that he provided as she tried to think of things that she could do with Sebastian today.

---I'VE BEEN DANCING ON THE TOPS OF BUILDINGS WITH YOU---
[/b] Sebastion surveyed the surroundings the restaurant itself was finely decorated with neutral walls, a Pasly pattern pressed into the paint and glazed over with a coat of primer clear paint giving the imprinted pattern a glow. The plants where all real, and trimmed to perfection, each leaf falling precisely into place. The dining areas where separated by breast high walls topped with gold finished bars, and each wall was lined with a station. The station table contained three cabinets for various amenities to hide behind, and a maroon velvet cloth draped across the top, which was lined with crystal glasses and bread baskets not yet filled. The dining areas themselves where for the most part empty. Lily and Sebastion occupied a petite center table, a herd of elderly women giggled with cackle like laughs in a round table for eight across the gold barred wall, and what appeared to be a bridal arrangement of five girls sat with their heads huddled together excitedly whispering three tables to the left. Sebastion recognized the blond Lily had shooed away and smiled to himself. Of course for him to look over the room it took barely three seconds, Sebastion was always one for details.
More for people though, such as now, Lily had chosen a purple trench for the colder weather. Sebastion always thought Lily looked good in purple it complimented her skin. She’d also worn leggings, which Sebastion by far preferred to any other dress. The clingy material hugged to the curves of a woman’s leg, creating a sharp line of what they looked like. Lily had a face most women would sell their souls for. Exotic almost, her nose in proportion with the rest of her face, cheeks that rarely flushed with color, but still had a pastel pink tiny. Plump lips, but not the overbearing kind that look like they’d drown you. And striking almond eyes that seemed to intensify in color with her mood. How could someone not stop too look? Although Sebastion could not eye her too graciously, she’d call him out on it. As she had done probably a few hundred times before. Her reactions always getting better and better.
Sebastion chuckled lightly at her demand for pancakes, of course she indulged herself. I mean have you ever seen the portions of the food served at a high end restaurant? Skimpy, skimpy, skimpy. You would have to order three main courses to have a full meal. But of course breakfast at this place was still a little on the downside. There’s no way you could mask the density of pancakes, thinking about such food made Sebastion sleepy all over again. Of course, Sebastion didn’t even have to go over the menu, he knew exactly what he wanted. Usually it was a couple bowls of cereal and a glass of too warm orange juice, and now it was time for the real deal. Eggs, bacon, toast the works. His mouth began to water at the mention of eggs.
” August got to you first? Damn. Of course he probably did a better job than I would have.” Sebastion replied with a raised brow. He was tempted to ask what had caught her attention so much she forgot to mention to Sebastion, and now it seemed August as well she would not attend. And it seemed benign, she would have at least told August, he was less relaxed about these types of situations, and therefore was more harsh about how he vocalized it. But Lily seemed hesitant about mentioning her distraction, of course Sebastion would find out about it sooner or later. Referring to her date comment he scoffed, his nose wrinkling at the bridge in a disgusted way. ” Lily, you have no idea. It was the one time I wish you would have walked up and done your ’let’s scare the girls away from Sebastion’ trick, really.” he instructed with a reserved sigh. His breathe slipping through slightly parted lips. Recalling the night, a grimace lined his profile. ”Of course your Mom and Dad weren’t to ecstatic about you being gone either, lucky for you they adore me and I covered for you. You should begin the immense gratitude now.” Sebastion played with an almost serious undertone. When she mentioned she would be absent from Christmas, Sebastion did frown. That was one of the best parties. And of course the best times he had with Lily, and now she would be gone from it. ”Well I don’t know, you’re going to leave me at the Christmas annual, I don’t see how I should help you out at the Grossman dinner. Seeing as that is one of the most boring families ever. I’ll even tell August we’re seeking revenge so he won’t go with you either, make you suffer. Besides Stephen, there youngest son, you remember him? Has eyed you for years now, I figure it’s only fair to give each guy their own chance with you.” Sebastion retorted, all the time struggling with a straight face, of course he would end up escorting Lily to the dinner anyway, where they would have their own conversation while the more serious adults argued over politics, and taxes, and stocks.
When Lily mentioned something about quitting her job, Sebastion again wondered why, although he was becoming less and less concerned about her hesitance to discuss it. ”If you don’t mind my prying, what exactly are your plans?? And why precisely would you quit your job? You’re leaving the glass half empty here Lil.” he interrogated, wondering what exactly he was missing out on. As the waiter swung by, setting down glasses of water, the condensation sliding down the bulbous glass sides. Beside each water was a smaller glass, the fluke made more slender then it’s bubbled counterpart. And a mimosa bubbled in the champagne glass. Sebastion ordered the continental breakfast and returned promptly to the conversation as the waiter slipped the menu out from under him. ”Well, what would you like to do? I have all day to devote to you.” his words oozed with sarcasm.

Lily did feel horrible about abandoning her friend. Then again, she couldn't be the only person that she hung out with. Why didn't August and Sebastian just hang out with one another during the night? They must have had something in common with one another other then the fact that they both knew Lily. Then again, Lily didn't tend to pay attention to the relationships that her boys had with other people. Lily suffered from a very severe case of selfish tunnel vision. Once she set her mind to somethign she only thought about that thing and she would really only care about a person when they were alone. When Kaleb would leave she would only think about herself and how much it would suck when he was gone. It was things like that that made Lily believe that she was a horrible person. She should be able to care and know about the other relationships that her friends had and she should be strong enough to not try and guilt Kaleb into staying every time it was time for him to leave once more. However she could never really bring herself to find that sort of strength and courage to want to change her ways and be a better friend. She found it to be much easier to simply stay the way that she was. She might not be the most perfect person around, but at least she could says that she was honest about her less redeeming qualities unlike most of the people that she knew. It was so nice to see that the upper crust of society hadn't changed since the birth of class systems.
Sebastian's body language told her everything that she needed to know about his date. She did feel a little bad that she had abandoned him, but she couldn't stay away knowing that there would be a chance to see him. "I really am sorry about abandoning you . . . twice. Might I suggest going sans date for Christmas or at least pick a date that you know you have something in common with rather then who will coordinate best with your tux. You shouldn't be miserable on Christmas. And we can have our own Christmas party you and me. There can be eggnog and gingerbread cookies and I'll at least sing Christmas carols, you can join in if you want, but I'll be back for New Years I promise." Lily knew that last statement about New Years was a little misleading. True she was going to be back for New Years. She would be there in attendance because she knew that her mother was going to kill her for missing Christmas as well. While lily would be back, she wasn't going to be back to be his date. That was the big thing that she knew was going to eventually come up and she didn't want to hurt him especially when he would frown at her like that. "I really do appreciate you being my epic hero saving me," Lily said trying to show her 'immense gratitude.' She was trying to come up with a way that she could make it up to him. "Why don't we go on holiday sans parents this year?" Lily asked putting the idea out there. She was twenty three years old, why was she still going on vacation with her parents? It could be a grand old time. Kaleb was normally gone anyway off with the carnival or whatever band of nomads that he had joined up with next so there would be no problem at all. "We could have a little fun in the sun or we can get all bundled up in the cold of the mountains. Your choice." Immediately all sorts of visions of perfect vacations began running through Lily's head like a movie. Lily may screw up ever now and again, but no one could never say that she didn't know how to make amends. "And in this horrible economy I think it would be more practical if we went with one room, don't you?" She asked smiling over her drink. Lily was a person who liked contact. She liked hugs, hand holding, arms around her shoulders, kisses, cuddling and anything that would give her contact with a person. With friends she had no boundary lines. She just did what ever she wanted and when it crossed a line for one of her friends, she would hope that they would tell her so that she would know for future references. Besides who in their right mind wouldn't want to wake up next to Sebastian Creed for a few nights, and besides if they got sick of one another they could always get another room somewhere down the line.
Hoping that amends were made, Lily listened as the rest of the conversation continued on. She nearly spit out her drink when Sebastian said that she should leave her to fend for herself at the Grossman dinner. Stephen was no where near the end of the list of Lily's favorite people. He wasn't near most people's list to be perfectly honest. He just gave off a vibe that most stalkers and pedos gave off. He was about as Charming as Chuck Bass. He had the greasiest hair that Lily had ever seen. It was like the man didn't know when to stop with the product. It would have been much better if he would learn how to put the gel down. What was the point of having long hair if you weren't going to wear it so a girl could run her hands through it? "You wouldn't dare do such a thing because then I would leave you to be with Sara Rossenburg." That was no light threat either. Everyone knew how clingy Sara was and that if you were her escort for one family function then she thought hat you were her boyfriend for life. There was something not quite right with Sara. Lily could never figure out what the hell had made that woman so clingy and not even she could put up with her and would always steal either Sebastian or August to go hide somewhere and find some other ways to entertain themselves. "Besides he's so creepy. You wouldn't want me to be alone with him. Just think about what he would try and do to your Lily." She was getting their conversation back to their light and teasing tone. It was always more enjoyable.
The conversation was going back to that uncomfortable area again. The what are you doing for Christmas topic. However, Sebastian deserved to know the truth since he covered for her and the fact that she was abandoning him on Christmas and she had already told August. "I'm meeting the parents," Lily said laughing at how she had worded the situation. She had known Kaleb for years and yet she had never met his family before. Now she was finally getting what she wanted for the longest time. Even if Kaleb kept saying that ominous things were going to happen. She was going to have a little more faith in the situation then that. "I finally go Kaleb to break down and he's taking me to his house for Christmas dinner this year." It felt good to get that out there. Then they could move on . . . well he still deserved to know why she wasn't at the Gala either considering he covered for her. "Which is the reason why I wasn't at the Gala either. The carnival was in town and I had to see if he was there, and he was and so well yeah you get the picture." That was about the story. She wasn't going to go into details. She didn't throw her escapades with her friends in her other friend's faces. I wasn't something that she would generally do. Besides she was never in the mood to hurt one of her friends. "As for the job thing, well I just don't think it's what I want anymore and I'm trying to figure out what that is and being stifled in my father's office all day isn't helping me do that." She wasn't sure what else she was going to say to the whole thing. She just wasn't sure of a lot of things lately. Her career was just one of them.
The sarcasm oozing from Sebastian's last statement was noted. Lily just shook her head at him. "Really all day to spend with little ol' me?" Lily asked putting her hand on her heart. "You shouldn't have. I don't deserve it and you'll probably get bored with me after an hour or too and you'll go off with some pretty young thing." Lily tried to keep her face straight as she listened to the words coming out of her mouth. Lily was trying to think of something that they should do though. She just didn't really know at this point. Winter was horrible. She much preferred the warmer months when the beach was up and running. "We could always go ice-skating," Lily suggested. It was just the first thing that came to her mind. It sounded like fun but she would be more then open to anything that he could come up with.

---I'VE BEEN DANCING ON THE TOPS OF BUILDINGS WITH YOU---
[/b] It wasn’t that Sebastion had want to make her feel guilty, he never really intended to make anyone feel bad, unless he did straight up dislike them. Which wasn’t exactly an easy thing to do but sometimes it just happened like that. People clicked with him, he was very sociable. It came with the territory, you just met so many people. Although sometimes it felt appropriate to make Lily at least a little bit upset she had done something or the other, Sebastion did not want to give her the impression he relied solely on her for everything. And of course it wasn’t like that, but every now and then people got full of themselves. Sebastion caught himself doing it sometimes. It’s not like he was a complete asshole about it. Oh contraire, he always kept the conversation light and playful with Lily. Or attempted to, every now and then an almost off limits feeling clung to the conversation, but then again one of the two had a way of turning any conversation into a joke. Another perk of being such comfortable friends. Lily was just a preferred date to any of the extreme upper class get together, since the conversation consisted of uninteresting subjects, Lily herself kept Sebastion entertained, while still appearing without a doubt she belonged there. During important toasts, where the speeches dragged on about who had donated what, or accolades so-and-so had achieved. Lily and Sebastion would find themselves separated from the crowd, where a plethora of things could happen. Other escorts Sebastion had taken along with him, had seen it as strictly business. They went along with Sebastion to make him appear desirable, nothing more, nothing less. Although Sebastion was a considerate man, he was a man none the less.
”I’m only hassling you Lily, don’t worry about it. I can hold my own. Not coordinate with my tux?! Why do you think I take you then??” Sebastion teased her, a smile breaking back across his lips again, a few wrinkles creased the corners of his eyes.”I mean, you didn’t think I took you because I actually enjoy your company did I?!” he chuckled now, the rich laughter bubbling up from his throat. When she mentioned there own Christmas party, he nodded. His hair bouncing forward into his face. That was the only issue with long hair, it got in your way. With a single palm he shoved it back, fingers trailing against his scalp. It parted naturally right down the middle, falling back against his ears and neck. ” Gingerbread cookies?! And caroling?! Oh I can’t wait.” agian he mocked her lightly, although he wouldn’t mind it at all, they would always find some way to make even simple things fun, and interesting. At least he’d see her New Year’s, of course he probably wouldn’t go with her. But he would see her, and if memory served they would talk like most old friends did. And who knew what New Years would bring. Sebastion just had to pick someone to go with who wouldn’t get all dramatic about him hanging out with Lily. He couldn’t stand overbearing women, especially the ones who didn’t get along well with his friends. That was the test and trial, no matter how absolutely breathe taking the girl was. If she had an issue with Sebastion’s close friends. There was no way she’d last. ”Well you know me Lily, it’s what I’m good for.” He instructed, leaning back slightly in his chair, placing his hands on the back of his head so his elbows peaked out the side of his shoulders. His body quivered slightly in a stretch. And then he leaned back toward the table. Resting his chin lightly on his knuckles.
It had to have been at least four years since Sebastion had been on vacation anywhere notable. His last had been to Russia, and he had adored it there. It had been winter then, and everything was blanketed in a thick layer of snow, the kind that when you step into you aren't sure when exactly you’ll stop falling. Most patches reach to the center of Sebastion’s shins, but in some territories, he sunk up to his knees and waist. He had met a count while visiting. Craven was his name. And he’d promised to come back the next year for a Ball of sometime. But never got to it, he’d moved here instead. From his beloved New York. ”With the parents? And cold of the mountains, definitely. So many ways to stay warm.” Sebastion vibrated with laughter. Accompanying the comment with a wink. He knew exactly what Lily was getting at, the economy was bad for some people, not them though. Although he didn’t dare protest, who would? That would be idiotic to argue. ”Oh definitely.” he agreed with a crooked smile. At least Sebastion had gotten to her, aware that she struggled not to spew her drink everywhere. Of course Stephen wasn’t the worst he could use, he could have gone a step down. Lucky he didn’t. He might be wearing her spewed drink all over his shirt. He listened with a bemused expression. Nodding and shrugging. ”Hollow threat love, I went with Sara to her parent’s cabin in Colorado.” of course it wasn’t true he would never get himself into that. One of his close friends Gavin had, and Sara, even after two years, was still trying to call Gavin. But it was fun to exaggerate. ”Besides, she may be clingy, but she’s great in bed.” he whispered, sputtering with laughter throughout the whole statement. It was a low blow to use threats including ’your Lily’ against Sebastion. It always got him. ”You know as well as I do I would never actually allow you to go with him.” he surrendered to her.
When she finally informed him of her plans, again his smile weakened . A line returning to his face. At first confused, but then it registered. Kaleb’s parents. Lily’s latest obsession. Not that Sebastion could approve. He’d never met the guy, but from various sources it seemed this guy was strange. Sebastion couldn’t help but judge, a bad habit he’d picked up. ”It’s about time. Just don’t come back with hooks all through your body, or dead.” Sebastion stated, almost matter-of-factly. That jealousy shit again was peaking up in him. He just nodded to acknowledge she had mentioned the carnival, and he allowed a yawn to stretch his mouth. It was poor spirit sure, but he’d get over it as would Lily. Sebastion was unsure what to say about her career options, it wasn’t really his business anyway. ”Well you’re a big girl now, you can make your own decisions.” he said with a smirk, the corner of his mouth pulled up. The crescent dip in his cheek making his appear more cynical than he preferred.By now the waiter was bringing by there food. Steam curled up from the plates. Sebastion could still here the grease of the eggs popping and smacking against the glassware. As the plates where set down, Sebastion thanked the man as he turned away. He picked up his fort diligently as she began her faux act. Sebastion laughed through the whole thing. ”Oh but you’ll run them all off!” he informed her, taking the first bite. The yolk of his eggs had broke and a yellow lava oozed across his plate. ”Hmm, ice-skating sounds interesting. We can do that. How about, we go ice-skating, grab some hot chocolate and head back to my place. Get warm and catch up? Watch a movie or whatever?” It sounded like a pretty decent day, relaxing and yet still eventful.

Christmas was one of Lily's favorite times of the year. She wasn't entirely sure if Sebastian was being serious or not with his mocking of her Christmas plans. It all sounded like fun to her besides, knowing them they weren't going to end up doing any of that stuff anyway. They got distracted sometimes. Not to say that distractions were a bad thing. Quite the contrary, she quite liked the little distractions that took them away from what they were doing. It made things more fun. "Or if you really want we can get some champagne and I'll get all dressed up and we'll just pretend that we're at some boring charity event if that's what you really want." Lily said not sure what Sebastian wanted at all. She could come up with a dozen or so ways or little party ideas for the two of them to participate in. "Or if that's not to your liking we could have a Christmas movie marathon, we could have ice-cream sundae night or we could have a sexy sleep over. There's this really cute Santa set at Victoria's Secret that I could wear," Lily said pretending to think about the last one. She wasn't sure how he would react to something like that and to be honest she probably said it more for his reaction then anything else though she just might have to buy it now so that she could see his reaction when he saw her in it. She really needed to learn to behave around people. This was beginning to get a little on the ridiculous side. Then again, Lily liked being ridiculous. It was much better then being the overtly proper young woman that her mother wanted her to be.
"Well if you really think that our parents should come with us on holiday like we're children, then I suppose that they can come but I thought that it was just going to be the two of us," Lily said. Maybe he didn't want to spend time alone with her for long periods of time. Maybe she was just one of those people who you could only get along with in small doses. Maybe that was the reason that Kaleb would keep leaving her no matter how many times Lily said that she would rather him stay and that they could figure some way for him to like living in Georgie despite his will to want to run. Then of course there was the wink that he just gave her that made every one of her crazy thoughts leave her scattered brain. "Oh yes, of course. Staying warm is where all the fun is. Do tell me how do you plan on keeping me warm? You know I can get rather irritable when I'm left out in the cold for too long" She was curious if he was going to give her an actual answer of if he was merely going to pass it off as her being her. She kind of wanted to know what his answer would be. It would tell her if going up into the cold snowy mountains was going to be worth it. She really wasn't one for the cold. The only good thing about the cold was that it was a good excuse to get close to someone. "You dirty rotten liar you," Lily said when Sebastian claimed that he went with Sara to Colorado. "If that were the case I would have to spend my whole day scaring her away and I doubt that I would be able to do hat. She's insufferable." Lily resisted he urge to roll her eyes about Sara's skills in bed. Instead she opted to play along with him. "Well I guess since you found someone so great in bed that you don't need me anymore for that. I doubt that I'm as good as the great Sara." Lily smiled as she won over the little "fight." Of course there was going to be no way that he was going to abandon with that thing around. If he did, she would leave him out to dry at every chance she got. Stephen was creepy on so many levels.
However the fun was going to go on pause. Lily could tell by the line forming on Sebastian's face. She wasn't happy about seeing that line. IT was a sign that things would possibly go down hill and hey were going to go downhill fast. She hated seeing that line. She would have to choose her words carefully now. Lily gave him a stern look. She was very protective of Kaleb. She knew full well that he did no fit into her world at all and hat was what she loved about him the most. She hated when either Sebastian or August would make a crack about him or his chosen job. She never understood why there seemed to be such tense feelings between the three men. Did hey know one another in a pas life or something? It was ridiculous. "Careful," was all Lily said to the comment about coming back with piercings. To be honest, things could have been a whole lot worse. he could have admonished her for going off and telling her that she was wasting her time when she was with Kaleb or anything else that her parents would always tell her when the subject of her best friend came up especially after he learned that she had ditched two events to be with him. "Really I'm all grow'd up now?" Lily asked with a smile. She knew that she could make her own descions but there was also the part where she knew that she couldn't survive without her parents quite yet. Lily was pampered and spoiled and she swore that was a way ha rich parents brought up their kids so that they would always come back home. Lily was so used to her lifestyle and she couldn't support herself and keep it as the same time. "But I also don't want to risk being cut off either. It's a fine line, and you know how good I am with lines," Lily said in reference to her having no boundary lines with Sebastian. Lily smiled at his comment about her running off all the younger women who were going to come up o Sebastian. It was true though. She would do exactly what he said. "Oh don't act like you don't enjoy it. You know that you love every last bit of my scaring off girls. I've never heard one serious complaint from you when I've scared off a girl or three."
Lily had her first taste of pancakes and they were to die for. "Oh my God you have got to try these," She said putting some on a fork and holding it out for Sebastian to try. She had definitely made the right call when it came to adding the blackberries on top of her pancakes. "Oh I love hot chocolate," Lily said when Sebastian mentioned it. She was looking more forward to going back to his place now then she was ice-skating. "Will there be whipped cream and mini marshmallows to go in the hot chocolate?" She asked him excitedly. Lily was a funny little thing. She was always getting excited over the most random of things. "I'm so glad that you invited me to breakfast. The food is delicious and I couldn't ask for better company." She could tell that today was going to be fun. Things normally were with Sebastian. He wasn't stuffy or boring like a lot of the people that she knew. "What kind of movie? Action, drama, horror . . ." Lily liked most movies. However, horror movies were by far her favorite. She was able to pull off he 'I'm so scared hold me,' act flawlessly. Horror movies, actually didn't bother her at all. She finished up her pancakes in what she hoped wasn't too fast. She didn't want to look like a pig. "Whenever you want to start today's festivities, I'm ready."

---I'VE BEEN DANCING ON THE TOPS OF BUILDINGS WITH YOU---
[/b] It was times like these Sebastion enjoyed thoroughly, I mean his time with Lily was always enjoyed but when they teased each other so casually about subjects that where more or less “R” rated. It was as if they didn’t draw any particular anomaly to the situation, almost like they where just discussing what they would do for the day, what they had done yesterday. Subject of no particular interest. Even though it was obvious you had to be on a certain level to be so easy going about these kinds of things, and to be able to say it to the other’s face with an almost seriousness, that it would convince them you where indeed going to do what you had just propositioned. ”Sexy sleepover and Santa set, god please.” Sebastion instructed with a brilliant smile, another rich laugh vibrating through his vocal chords and sliding off his tongue. As far fetched as it sounded, Lily would probably end up buying the lingerie set, regardless of weather Sebastion saw it or not. Although he sort of hoped she’d model it for him. It was a kind of perk of being one of her, probably few ”boys”. Sure Sebastion knew he probably wasn’t the only one who got special treatment like nearly naked model sessions. But he was at least grateful he was one of the people who did. In fact, he didn’t half doubt he was preferred company. As he was partial to hanging out with Lily in a casual kind of setting opposed to someone who would read to deeply into the invitation and think Sebastion wanted something serious. Which was the farthest thing from what he wanted currently. In truth, Sebastion was kind of an asshole to girls like that. But you do what you’ve got to do.
Sebastion misunderstood, he had though Lily was suggesting they accompany either set of parents on one of their wonderful vacations. But it seemed she had instead meant they have their own adventure. Which was a lot better sound than Lily’s Father all over his back about staying in the same the same room (not to mention the same bed) as Lily. Luckily her parents where blissfully unaware of the arrangements of said relationship, while Sebastion’s Father and Mother couldn’t have cared less. ”I seem to have misunderstood, I thought you where referring to going with them, but I like your idea much better.” he began with an almost excited tone. He noticed as her eyes glazed over for that instant, thinking about something. But instantly she was back to the situation with a curious question. ”Well, you know Lily, they say the best way to stay warm is sharing body heat.” he informed her. Knowing good and well she’d get what he was referring too. Not like he was dodging the subject, it was just better to answer that way in a public setting. The troop of old women where just now receiving their food, half which ordered a mush of oatmeal Sebastion noticed. And the bridal shower, whatever you call it. Had become more passive and where quieter. A few more people had arrive din the span of time, but they sat at the opposite side of the vast room. When Lily called him out, a little laugh bust through his lips. Luckily before he decided to finish off the orange juice in his fluke. ”Yeah you got me, and I don’t know about that. Gavin told me she informed him you where terrifying. I’m tempted to agree with her.” Sebastion of course was joking, if anything Lily may be scary to other girls, only because she was so outspoken. But for most of the guys Sebastion had discussed his escort with, she was more adorable looking. At which point Sebastion had chuckled at them, and in his head he had thought. ’poor boys. adorable is for innocent girls’. And Lily wasn’t exactly, innocent. ”Don’t get ahead of yourself now Lil. I never said she was better than you!” he scoffed in defense. Lily had pulled a cheap shot. So far it was Lily, one. Sebastion, zero. He’d have to change that by the end of the day.
Sebastion chewed idly on the last part of his eggs, a pool of yellow began to clot on the bottom of his plate, and he could feel himself getting full. As his jaw worked, all Lily had to say about his comment was ’careful’ this sort of reply almost angered him more, it was like she might actually or something. No don’t worry I won’t, nothing like that. Just that Sebastion had said something that was out of line. He did not feel it was, but to each their own. Although he did not want to ruin the day, he kept his mouth shut, so much he could of said. And for all he knew, Kaleb could actually be a decent guy. I mean most of Lily’s fling where. August of course. Who was not Sebastion’s cup of tea, he was still pretty reliable. They got along on the occasion they where required to, and basically ignored each other every other time. Sebastion was okay with this arrangement as well. What was worse would be if Sebastion actually liked this Kaleb guy, would that jealous twinge increase or subside? What if they became friends? Well, that could actually lead to some pretty creative things, but that was besides the point. He was over thinking this, he’d just go on thinking the carny was a crazy. That was until he was proved wrong, at which point he would go along with whatever situation was thrown at him. At her comments he shrugged, ”Personally lily, I like your lines.” he informed her with a sincerity. Of course he liked her lines, since their where none. It was until the other said so. Which was rare if ever, so naturally he was a supporter of Lily’s indecisive lines. ”You’re right, I don’t mind at all, you always show me a better time.” he insisted. It was easier to agree with her on this, even though her timing was bad with the shooing, such as swapping number or what have you. Not that it bothered him so much, he just liked to hassle her.
Just as Sebastion had started on his toast, Lily began her rant on the pancakes, he couldn’t blame her though they did look delicious. As she held out her fork, he bent himself across the table and took the bite delicately between his teeth careful not to scrape the enamel of his teeth against the steel, the feeling and sound it made cause him to cringe so avoided it. ”Not bad at all.” Sebastion said after he’d swallowed the pancakes. As she approved of his idea Sebastion’s shoulders rolled in a shrug. ”Would you like whip cream and marshmallow? Haha, because I dunno if I have those at my apartment, might have to stop and get some.” He enjoyed her enthusiasm though, it improved his own mood greatly. He was no longer worried about the Kaleb situation, he didn’t have to be in the first place technically, he just felt compelled to. ”Well thank you for joining me Lily. Always a pleasure” he recited, it was almost like a goodbye, luckily it wasn’t. The whole day was head of them, and Lily might even stay the night, he was unsure on the details yet. That was just how it sometimes worked out. Sebastion’s palm rose, waving down the waiter as he scurried about the floor, for the bill. It was brought back promptly, and Sebastion slipped his debit card inside the leather folds. ”What haven’t you seen?” he questioned, as far as he was concerned he was up for any movie. Sebastion hadn’t seen one in awhile, so anything was good with him. Although he was easy to entertain in the first place. The man took away the black skinned case, and again returned in a flash thanking Sebastion for his business. ”Well.” he began as he picked up the pen and began to scribble across the line his signature. ”I think we can go, just about now.” He pocketed back his card, and stood, holding out his hand towards Lily. ”Shall we?”

Lily quite liked his answer to what they would do for Christmas. She filed it away as something to plan for the two of them. It would be spontaneous though and she wouldn't know what hit him. She always enjoyed doing things like that. I was such a joy to catch him off guard. Surprising people was one of Lily's favorite things to do. She could see the whole scene in her head. She loved when she had a a whole bunch of ideas going on in her head at once. Of course she had to be careful not to get lost in them yet, but all of a sudden the perfect plan came to her and she was going to have to play her cards right to make sure that it was going to come out right. She would have to make sure that she acted just the right way to make sure that he wouldn't suspect a thing though her plan would drastically alter what they had already said. She was a crafty woman though. She could make sure that she could pull off what she wanted to do, especially since it was going to be more for him then for her. She always did put more enthusiasm into things that she was doing for her friends then if she were simply doing something for herself. "Ok I think I can manage that, but you do know that Santa only comes for the kids who are on the right list," Lily said to him with a grin. "So tell me, have you been nice or have you been naughty?"
If anyone overheard their conversation they would probably offended or appalled. She knew that her mother would probably have a heart attack if she heard her daughter talking to Sebastian the way that she did. Knowing that made it all the more fun. She would do it regardless of her mother's reaction but the knowledge that her mother would freak out was what gave the actions that little extra added kick. Sebastian's answer was perfect since they were in public, but she couldn't help but imagine what he would say if he didn't have to worry about giving little old ladies heart attacks. "And this sharing, it wouldn't happen to involve a super soft king sized bed now would it?" she asked him. Spending a few days in bed with Sebastian sounded like tons of a fun. It sounded like a rather appropriate way to spend a vacation to her. There were all sorts of fun things and variations of things that you could do on a bed and Lily wouldn't mind trying and doing all of them with Sebastian. She didn't mind modeling for him or doing more intimate things with him. She trusted him, she cared for him, and she was close to him. Therefore it never felt weird to do things with Sebastian that many would think should only happen between 'couples.' Hell at least Lily had a relationship with Sebastian unlike some of the sleep arounds that she knew. "And you're not just scoffing at me so that I"ll think that I actually am better then her, and you just don't have the hear to tell me other wise?" She asked him in a voice that held a bit of a whine to it. Lily was nowhere near being serious with that statement. She was just playing with him as much as he was playing with her.
"You can have hot chocolate without whipped cream and marshmallows?" Lily asked with her eyebrow raised. That would of course answer his question on the necessity of the two objects. Lily didn't think it was the same without the whipped cream and marshmallows. "Besides, whipped cream goes along with other things besides hot chocolate. You can use it to top almost anything." She was incredibly naughty with her language, but she couldn't help it. The idea of a little Santa get up and Sebastian, well any girl would only have one thing on their mind assuming that they were straight. She was going to have to pull in eventually which she didn't mind doing. She would have him just the way that she wanted him eventually. "Oh Sebastian you know that the pleasure is always mine," She said as they made their fake good byes. She took his hand as it was offered to her as they got ready to leave he establishment. She picked up her purse and put on her shoulder before linking her arm with Sebastian's. "The sooner we start the better," She informed him. She was certain that her plan was going to work, the only thing left to do was enact it. "Well I haven't seen a lot of movies. I'll watch pretty much anything you know that, so whatever you're in the mood to see would be just fine with me." Lily pushed back her hair as they went back into the cool winter air. "We should probably pick out something that's interesting and something that would make good background noise. You never know how the day will turn out." It didn't really matter either way. If things were happening according to her plan, then there wasn't even going to be a need for the movie.
"Oh I've just had he best idea!" Lily said to them as they were walking down the sidewalk. "Why don't you get the marshmallows, and the whipped cream and pick out a few movies. Meanwhile, you can give me the key to your place and I'll head back to my place real quick to grab some stuff for the night and then go to your place." Lily thought that it would be perfect. She of course was not going to go to her place but make a little stop at a certain little store and then head back to his place and set up a few things. The place that she needed to go was much closer then the places that he had to go to. Besides he probably didn't even know where the marshmallows and the whipped cream were in a grocery store. Plus if he was anything like her he would be distracted by other things that he could buy. Maybe he would even come up with an idea or two of his own. "So what do you say? I promise that I'll make it worth your while" She sang the last sentence and gave him her best 'pleading' eyes.

---I'VE BEEN DANCING ON THE TOPS OF BUILDINGS WITH YOU---
[/b] She was thinking again, she always got this almost glazed over look when she was thinking, she’d keep on smiling, just staring at you with a grin. It was almost creepy. Although any type of thinking done by Lily was ultimately good, or ultimately bad. So one could only hope they where on the good side of that spectrum. Seeing as the subject was an otherwise positive one, Sebastion was pretty sure he was in the safe zone with that one. As she spoke, he eyed her. ”Well, if Santa is coming to visit, I’ve been the nicest boy on the block.” Sebastion implied with a wicked grin, not the usual innocent smile, if such a thing existed. He was rather enjoying himself in this conversation. It’d just peaked past an hour and already the antics had begun, it was going to be a wonderful day. And the way they kept using an almost code language to mislead the few nosy people who eavesdropped in on their conversation thoroughly amused him. It was almost childish, sure in a secluded area they could be more straight forward about it, but not here. No, they had to disguise the fact they where talking about adult topics, despite the fact they where surrounded by adults. It’d be improper, and contrary to belief, they both had an image to uphold.
Sebastion was looking forward to this vacation they where discussing now, sure he’d only been in Georgia a few weeks, but already he didn’t mind the thought of getting away for a few days. Just them two, it wouldn’t be a problem at all. Go somewhere private, even if it was in the middle of nowhere. This pair could keep themselves entertained, truth be told you could stick them in a room together and they’d find someway to entertain themselves. Everyone was capable of it. Lily and Sebastion where just experts at it. ”The sharing can start there, but who knows where it’ll end up. Bed, floor, table, shower. You never know.” he informed her that devious smirk continued to taint his otherwise sincere face. It was rare he had such a slandered expression on his face. But he couldn’t help himself in a situation like this. It got him excited and jittery. Ready to get the day over with so he could get one day closer to the ecstasy. Then again, he could wait for this day to be over. So far Lily hadn’t mentioned when she was leaving, which meant there was an infinite amount of time she’d be with Sebastion. That was the good part about Lil. She never got boring, not like those people that if your around them for a certain period of time grow duller and duller. That never happened with Lily, she always had a way of surprising you. Maybe that’s what made her so cruelly addictive. ”Of course not love, I mean it with all my heart!” Sebastion replied with enthusiasm to her comment. It was cute how she whined at him about stuff like that. It made him smile.
He began to lead them out of the restaurant, arm entwined with Lily’s own slender appendage. Chuckling lightly at her comment. ”Precisely why I’m out of whip cream.” he noted. Pushing open the door, allowing Lily to lead through, the wood creaked as it expanded in the heat of the building. It had gotten surprisingly colder since when they’d entered. The cold had sucked back the color from everything. No more collage of colors painted the sky and lit up everything in vibrant clarity, now everything seemed gray. A wind stirred up Sebastions hair, as well as Lily’s causing the spindly strands to fly away in a crazy dance. Sebastion pulled his elbow into his side, causing Lily to slide in closer to his own body, so when they walked their sides bumped together. He enjoyed this talk of a movie that would suit well as good background music. ”I think I can manage that.” he had just sputtered out, with every word a white wisp curled off his lips.
They had just about reached Lily’s car when she vocalized her idea. It seemed appropriate enough. Of course it would be a big time saver splitting up. Then again that would give Lily time to think up ways to torture Sebastion with the unfolding day. And by torture I mean sexually tease. Oh well, comes with relationship. With an irresistible pleading face he caved. ”It sounds good to me, just don’t destroy my apartment while you wait.” he teased her. Luckily he had kenneled up Dom before he left. She wouldn’t have a puppy running around to worry about. Sebastion unlinked his arm from her’s and with both hands placed his palms on either side of her face. Her cheeks felt hot against the flesh of his hands, of course, his hands must be freezing. ”Don’t use that look, it’s a cheap shot.” he demanded of her, Pulling her face to his for a brief moment and pressing his lips to hers. After they’d parted. He retrieved his key from a clip on his car key, passing it off to her. Then seeing her off as she got into her car and drove away. Now to find little marshmallows, and whipped cream.

The last bits of conversation during their stay at the restaurant had been rather exciting. She was incredibly excited for all of this. She almost wished that they were on holiday right now. OH the things that she would be able to do if they actually were. Lily had to pout those thoughts to rest for a small amount of time. She would be able to drudge them up later or think about ways to make them better. Oh the images that were going through her head right now were positively sinful. She shouldn't be thinking such things. She shouldn't be letting Sebastian get to her like this, at least not out in the open. He was making her want to act so differently then she should. It really wasn't fair for him to do so. She would get him back though. It was always just a matter of time and he would soon be feeling the mildly frustrating sexual torture that only she could make him feel, and that was a bit of satisfaction that topped almost all the rest. She kissed him back for the few brief moments that the kiss lasted. "I make no promises on the look, darling." She smiled and kissed him quickly yet again. She was more then happy to get into the car. She had no time to lose. She really should have figured out some other way to make sure that she was going to have everything. oh well that was the problem with impulsive plans. It usually left little time to work out all the important details such as timing.
Lily was excited that Sebastian had decided to go with it. She was going to get some serious quality make up time with him. It had been all her fault in the first place so she was going to have to make sure that she was going to make it extra special for him. Lily had no time to waste though. She had a lot to do in a very small amount of time, but she knew that if she didn't do this now then she was never going to be able to truly surprise him. I was a good thing that Sebastian wasn't a mind reader, otherwise she was sure that he was going to ruin the whole thing. It was the only thing that she could be thinking about at the moment. She drove down the street as soon as she was sure that Sebastian wasn't going to be watching for her. She made her way quickly to the Victoria's Secret shop and picked up what she needed along with some other things that she could wear the next day because there was no way that she was going to have enough time to go back to her place and get clothes, pajamas, and everything else is she did end up spending the night, which if her plan went the right way, she doubted that Sebastian would let her leave until tomorrow. Wouldn't that be a blissful twenty four hours. She was not going to be caught dead walking out in the same thing even if she did have the trench coat to cover up the shirt and anyone could just think that she was wearing another pair of black jeans. Lily however, was not going to take that chance. There were gossip mongers in their circle and in this town and she would not have any sort of slander go around town about Sebastian and her. She didn't need to be even more confused then she was at the moment. Right now though, she was just going to ignore all that and just live in the here and now. She could think about grown up things later when she was ready to handle them. At the moment though, she was not ready to handle them. So she was going to do what she did best, she was going to be with her friend and she was going to lose herself in his company and enjoy herself too. No more of this confusion. She was going to pack it away in a little box to be sorted through later.
The key struggled to find it's lock as she tried to open the door. She set to work right away as soon as she was inside. She quickly determined which room was his and changed into her little outfit. She smiled at herself in the mirror proud of her little idea and happy that Sebastian had chosen this. Christmas was coming early for her friend and that didn't bother her in the leas. After all that meant that she was celebrating with him first and that meant that she was again doing something special with him. She hooked her tights into her garter belt and slipped back into her heels and went about getting other things done. She took out a bag of candy and left a trail from his door to his bedroom. She took out cookies that she had picked up at the bakery and lit a sugar cookie candle to make the house smell like Christmas. She didn't have a lot of time to put up a lot of decorations hardly anything at all. Mainly just the candy and the cookies. It was impromptu and she didn't have the opportunity to be usually thorough self. She picked up a Christmas card and a red pen and quickly wrote a little note inside of it: "If you've been a good boy his year, follow the trail to get your presents." She left the card unsigned since there was no real reason for her to sign it. He would find out soon enough if he couldn't figure it out. Then again, who else had the key to his apartment? She grabbed a piece of tape and taped the card to the outside of the door.
Unsure of when he was going to get back, Lily retreated to his bedroom. She closed the door and put on instrumental Christmas music. No need for lyrics. That could get to be a little bit awkward. She was going to make sure that things weren't awkward. To be honest, Lily wanted this, and she wanted this rather badly. She had missed Sebastain yes, but she also missed he way that he could make her feel. She was beginning to feel like she was going a bit too numb for her liking. She always felt like something was missing when Kaleb was gone. Sebastain helped with that, but then she had a break from Sebastian and that was just making things even more worse for her. She needed to spend good quality time with him. She heard the door main door open and she climbed up onto his bed. She was on her knees facing the door her hands on her thumbs hooked into her fake Santa belt. The lingerie was a little cheesy, but hey, who said that it was going to stay on for very long. "Merry Christmas. Now why don't you tell Santa's little helper what you want really for Christmas, and we'll see if you've behaved yourself well enough to get it." Her one was seductive and she smiled at him in her own special way. She was pretty sure that she had him now, and if she didn't well she would have him soon. Either that or he switched sides on her.

YOU ARE THE DARK OCEAN BOTTOM AND I AM THE FAST SINKING ANCHOR
[/b] The wind was biting, it amped the severity of the cold. It seemed to slice right through the thick trench Sebastion had draped over his shoulder. After seeing Lily off he had hunched forward, the breeze catching off his hair, the pieces flying back and slowly shifting back to their natural position before being blown away again. The mumble of his car’s engine became audible from the sidewalk. The curling trail of smoke flowing in a steady stream from the duel exhaust. There was nothing Sebastion loved more than his car. The valet had the door ajar, but swung it open as Sebastion approached. In one swift motion Sebastion eased into the cab, and swung the door shut. Ending the flow of frosty air that seeped in. The heat blasted into his face from the vents, and he adjusted his seat where the valet, who was shorter then Sebastion had messed with the settings. The engine growled with the pressure from the sole of his shoe, and he pulled out onto the street. Where to start, where to start…
Finding whip cream and marshmallows was like a mini treasure hunt. So Sebastion wasn’t a great shopper, he didn’t exactly have to do a whole lot of grocery shopping. And he didn’t know the exact rules of the grocery store. He tried to keep it simple, pay the gas station store a visit. But the lazy bastard behind the counter had just shrugged when Sebastion had inquired, and then, after combing the isles, he’d found the only marshmallows they had where the dehydrated ones in a Swiss Miss box. How utterly disappointing. So now he had to go through a real store, where if you went up a down isle, it was like committing some kind of national crime. By the time he’d found the two simple items he’d needed. Sebastion had received more death glares than he had total in his life. And he’d accumulated a lot of hate in his lifetime. So after waiting impatiently in line, since apparently everyone had ten items, OR LESS (which everyone assumed meant it was ok to have more than ten too.) He got to take this awesome adventure back outside, into the winter chill, where some soccer mom in an oversized Expedition had parked far to close for comfort to Sebastion car. He was ready to get back, and relax with his Lily.
The traffic back was hell, the water that had pooled by the curb had begun to freeze over, so naturally people had panic attacks and drove at speeds so ridiculously slow Sebastion contemplated placing his car in park, and walking the rest of the way. His patience had been wearing down, and now it was paper thin. Sebastion was more then relieved when he finally pulled into the complex. The engine to his car idling for a moment before clicking off. The lights dimmed, and faded. Pulling on his coat again and taking the single bag, Sebastion bailed from the warm leather of his Camaro. Hands shoved into his pockets, the handles on the bag stretching to accommodate the distance. Up a single flight of stairs. Sebastion had nearly over looked the note taped up on his door, thinking it was a surrounding neighbors seasons greetings, he’d already gotten three in his mail, but the wind peeled back the cover slightly revealing the familiar calligraphy. He scanned the note, and the frown he had held so cynically on his face turned instantly into a devious smile. The crescent indention that threw his dimple askew made his smirk so deviate looking. The brass clutch to his door fogged up around his palm, and he shoved against the door, it eased open.
The mentioned trail was directly ahead of him, a sweet smell wafted down the hallway. It made the room seemed warmer. The lights where off, and with the twitch of a single finger the lights flickered on. Removing the trench he placed it idly on the couch with the supplies for proper hot chocolate. Following the trail of brightly wrapped cylinders led to his bedroom, Sebastion stooped too pluck one up off the floor. It was hard candy twisted inside a blanket of red and green foil, with silver trimming. Flipping it up and down as he continued to abide by the line of candies. Like a good boy. An overly jolly tune became audible, muffled by the thick wood door.
Sebastion pulled it open, first the sweet warming scent became more prominate, filling the space around him. Next the music grew in volume it was a classical remix of traditional Christmas songs, no rich lyrics laced the words. And finally, perched properly on the edge of his bed was Lily. On her head was the typical red velvet santa cap, it pressed down on the curls that spilled from under the brim. She wore no shirt only a rich red push up she filled nicely. And of course a skirt of the same lavish red trimmed in white fluff. Her skin was smooth and tan, soft looking to the touch and rich in color. As she spoke, he chuckled slightly the rich bubbling laughter rising through his throat and barely topping the music, that had dimmed down to a quiet version of silent night. Closing the space between himself and ”Santa’s little helper”. He placed his palms on the bed, sinking into the soft material slightly. Each hand was stationed on the outside of her folded legs. His chest hovering over her thighs. Bent over like he was his face hovered just slightly from her’s. The feathering from her hat brushed his forehead. ” Well if it’s what I really want, I do hope Santa doesn’t miss you.” he retorted, sliding a single hand across her side, so it pressed against the base of her spine. Balancing precariously on one arm he pulled the limb that was cradling her back towards him. So her spine concaved in and her forehead rolled against his until their lips met.

Lily's breath caught in her chest as she heard the front door open. She felt like it was do or die time and she was suddenly all nervous. Sure Sebastian had said that this was what he had wanted for Christmas, but there was always that slight chance that he had been joking with her this whole time and that he hadn't wanted this at all. He had agreed to movie time and here he was getting Lily in holiday lingerie. What was she going to do if he told her she was being silly? Should it even matter? It's not like this whole relationship of there's was based around sex or something physical. She could just lay with him watch movies with the occassional conversation as well. She could also spend the entire night at an event with him and it wasn't as if they could do anything deemed inappropriate there etiher. At a glance their relationship seemed so simple. Doing whatever they wanted with one antoher because there was an undeniable bond of trust between the two, but it was a lot more then that, or at least it become more complicated on her side. There was another factor in her life that she was trying to understand at the moment and she felt like she was failling misterably at that. She didn't want to lead Sebastian on but she had thought that they had never wanted anything more then what they already had. What was the point of putting a lable on something and relationships in their world were nothing more then pretty little facades with shiney little lables attatched on top. She saw what relationships and marriage had done to many people and Lily would never want that in a million years. It was true that she did want to find someone to live the rest of her life with and to be completely faithful to, but that was something that was so hard for her to fathom finding. She felt like she would have met that person already or that maybe she was just being blind to it. She knew exactly what she wanted in a man. She wanted someone she could trust, someone to take care of her, someone that she could talk to for hours, someone that was fun, someone who could make her see sparks simply by kissing the top of her head, and someone who would look at her and she would know that she was the love of his life and that she would be enough for him no matter what she did. She felt like she was never going to find that person. Kaleb was the only person who had ever seen her compeletely in almost every aspect. He enver expected anything from her and she always seemed to be good enough for him, but the thing was he never seemed to want to take thigns further with her. She felt as if she had been friend zoned but was she really? With Sebastian she trusted him, she enjoyed his company, they were compatable and he clearly wanted to do things that weren't exatly 'friend based' but what did that mean? It's not like either of them ever said 'Lets be exclusive?' She wasn't sure how she could react to that. She didn't want to hurt him but she didn't want to string him along either.
Those messy thoughts were pushed from her head as the door opened. She would have to lock away her emotional mess for a later date. Right now she had to go back into her playful mode. It was something that she had done on many occassion. Lily was an expert at hiding any and all emotion that she needed to in order to make herself look like the perfect little society girl. She knew wha was expected of her and it was beat into her head for the longest time that she would have to act as though everything was perfectly right and she would have to act perfectly mannered no matter what she wanted or how she was feeling. Some of the best actors and actresses could be seen in their circle of "friends." Some of the worst could also be found as well. How Kathy Merlot ever got an acting job was beyond her, then again go look at her enhancements and her willingness to please and her hunger for fame and a need to be loved and it all fell together for Lily. That woman was a load full of drama that nobody wanted to deal with unless the lights were off and the clothes were gone. The look on Sebastian's face made her feel like she had done something right. She watched his eyes take everything in as he slowly came into his room. His eyes fell to her finally and she watched them start at the top of her Santa hat and follow the curves of her hair into her body and take in the outfit, if you could even call it that, that clung and showed off her body. She smiled and blushed slightly as he came closer and he kept looking at her. Once again she felt her breath catch as he said nothing but came closer to her. He made her feel small as he still towered over her even as he was bending down. She bit her bottom lip as she talked about Santa missing her. Years of knowing one another let her know that she wasn't going to be able to get out a response because he was going to kiss her. She felt his hand on her bare back sliding her towards him and soon his lips were on her covering them completely. She felt her eyes clothes and her body go into that automatic mode when ever she would fool around with Sebastian. Her arms went around his neck and her fingers threaded into the back of his hair. Her lips moved back against his. The feeling was familiar and comforting and her nerves were completely erased. She pulled her lips from his, but kept their foreheads touching. A smile played on her pretty lips.
Without saying a word, Lily's hands moved down across his shoulders and rested on the first button of his pressed white shirt. She slowly undid the first button taking her time not rushing anything. There was something that could be said for the art of foreplay, true it was a bitch at times but in the end it was worth so worth it, especially with Sebastian. She undid one button and her fingers moved down to the next one. The smile on her face still evident as ever. Her eyes held a mischevious little light to them as she finished the second button. She kissed him again her hands on the side of his face. The intensity of the kiss much stronger then before. Lily typically wasn't for leading people on but there was one special case and that was when she was messing around for lack of a better term. She pulled away at the height of the intensity a not so innocent little smirk playing on her lips. Her hands gripped the edge of the bed as she moved so that she was leaning forward so that she could kiss his exposed neck. Her lips moved up towards his ear. "Well then you must have been very very good this year," Lily said in his ear. She pushed back against his hand so that she could move back more on the bed away from his grasp. She moved back on he bed her legs laying on in front of her crossed over one another towards the side to make them appear as long and curvy as possible. She leaned back on her elbows grinning at him once more. She slowly kicked her heels off and they made a small thud on his bedroom floor. "Santa said that I'm not allowed to leave until you're thoroughly happy with your Christmas present." She was hoping that she wasn't coming off as a joke. Sometimes she would feel a littl awkward when she was trying to act sexy around other men. Even though she knew Sebastian very well, she still was a little uncertain sometimes. "So why don't you help me make sure you get everything you want out of your Christmas present."
