James had always heard of these spring beach bbq's but never really felt bothered enough to go. they were for kids, after all. Although, this year, 2010, he'd make more of an effort, he'd attempt at least to stick with one girl for more than just a night, he'd try to keep his gallery going and he's try not to ditch too many friends. he'd try to be good. and it was so that he now found himself, as usual, in the back of a cab, but not on the way to a club, as the stories' usually end up going when he's in a taxi. instead, he was planning to spend his aftternoon watching the sun set around himself adn a bunch of other Hollow's kids. he could see the smoke off the bonfire, in which they'd cook off later, when he pulled up at the side of the road, just a few minuits walk from thet seashore."here," he said handing the driver the correct mount due for his trip, "i'll give you a call when i need picking up, later, okay?," of course it was okay, and without even waiting to see if the driver had anything left to say, he walked out, and starting the walk to the beach.
the beach was fairly crouded, full of kids from the ages of about fifteen till thirties, everyone was runing around in the sea and sunbathing and socialising with everybodu. the noice was insane, but somehow, James could still hear the sound of the waves genttly washing across the sand over it all. on first glance, he couldn't see anyone he recognised, and so carried on walking towards the shore. After passing the line of dry and damp sand,he took off his shoes. after walking through the water for a little while carrying his shoes in his right hand, feeling the warm water against his bare legs, he decided to sit down on his own on the drier sand and enjoy the spring heat. oh boy, he could not wait till summer.taggedopenwords 343notes a bit sucky, right ?
