For the tree we need ornaments! That's where the citizens come in. We're holding an ornament making contest. There are two categories, visual and written. If you're not good with graphics it's ok because you can just describe your ornament! Towards the end of the event we'll put all the entries into two separate polls and we'll have everyone vote on them. This is an in character contest so you can enter once for every character that you have. However you can't enter both the written and visual category with the same character. Everything must be made or written by you. You cannot take a picture of an ornament off of google and enter it. If you manipulate that's fine make sure to give credit where credit is due (stock, brushes, ect.). Make sure your images do not stretch the board. If they do, link out. Please keep the ornaments appropriate and no they do not have to be Christmas related. They can be whatever you want. A pony, a snow man, a flamingo, whatever you want. Post your entries in this thread and this thread only! Deadline for now is December 31st but will probably be pushed back. Have fun and join in!

Hanging on James's tre, in what he hopes to be a temporary home for the decoration, is his entry to the ornament contest. In short, it is a robin. Robins always ment alot to him, when one of his relativves died, they always said they'd come back as a robin, and from that point onwards he appeared to see them almost constantly. He had used real feathers on it, which he had brougth from a craft store. its red chest was made of glitter and its nose also had glitter on it. Its feet where wire wrapped in brown ribbon, holding onto a holly leaf, which was plastic, and sprayed with snowy paint. James, although arrogant as he is, thinks his robin is very good, and cute

Deanna didn't have to look far to find the perfect ornament for the contest. In an old cardboard box she found a lavish glass ball that she had created for her first Christmas in college. The transparent ball had a stunning city scene carefully outlined on it. There were buildings of all sizes outlined in black with little silver windows. There were delicate, glittered snow flakes gently painted on that made it look like a true winter in the city. The snow flakes seemed to gleam in the light. The irony of the scene was that the unknown city was actually meant to be Orlando Florida, where Deanna had gone to college. On the tiny city buildings were little Christmas lights in red and green colors. The black city buildings showed up beautifully on the transparent glass ball. She loved this ornament dearly. It was the first thing she had ever made that she was truly proud of.
